Our Mission
Women Accelerators, formerly de la Femme, is a Massachusetts-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing women in leadership and creating more equitable workplaces. We help close the gender gap by supporting women as they pursue leadership roles in business, entrepreneurship, government, and nonprofit organizations.
Our mission is to build a thriving women’s leadership organization where ambitious women can access mentorship, professional development, educational resources, and meaningful connections. We provide leadership programs, networking events, and mentoring. These opportunities help women build confidence, strengthen their skills, and advance their careers.
We believe women achieve more when they support one another. Our community connects aspiring and established leaders. Members share knowledge, encourage growth, and celebrate success together. We help more women reach executive leadership, serve on boards, launch businesses, and influence change in their industries.
Since 2019, the Greater Lowell Community Foundation has served as Women Accelerators’ fiscal sponsor. This partnership allows us to expand leadership opportunities for women across Massachusetts and beyond.
