Event Description:

The Credit 101 event will provide an overview of how credit scores work and how to access and understand your credit reports. We will cover practical steps for building and repairing credit, including how to identify and dispute errors, manage debt, protect credit, and maintain good credit habits over time. The session will also include a Q&A to address any specific questions. This webinar is intended to offer clear, useful information for anyone looking to improve their credit knowledge and financial well-being.

Speaker:

Fatiha Ainane joined the Local Enterprise Assistance Fund’s Elevate Small Business team in 2023, where she helps underserved entrepreneurs access capital and technical support. Previously, she was Lending Director at Accion, a national CDFI, developing strategies to support small business owners. Fatiha holds a master’s in international relations and diplomacy from Northeastern University. She serves on several nonprofit boards and volunteers with the American Association of Arab Women, reflecting her
commitment to economic empowerment and social justice.
