Combatting the Loneliness Epidemic in our Workplaces, Communities, and Homes

Join us on Wednesday, April 15 at the UMass Amherst Charles River Campus (100 Carlson Ave, Newton, MA) for an engaging and insightful event featuring Dr. Lin, a UMass Amherst alumna.

Loneliness and social isolation are growing challenges that impact our well-being across all areas of life. In this thought-provoking presentation, Dr. Lin will explore the latest research on the loneliness epidemic and share practical, scientifically supported strategies to help foster stronger connections at work, in our communities, and at home.

Attendees will gain actionable tools to improve social connection and overall well-being, while also having the opportunity to connect with others during a networking session. Pizza will be provided.

Dr. Linda Lin is a licensed clinical psychologist and Professor of Psychology with over 25 years of experience teaching, researching, and speaking on mental health and psychological well-being. She is a recognized authority with an extensive publication record in leading scientific journals and a long history of invited presentations to academic, business, and public audiences worldwide, translating rigorous research into practical, evidence-based insights for professional and community settings.
